Knox Mountain Park is one of the best places to see Okanagan Lake at a higher elevation. It is also a great place for hiking and mountain biking.

What We Did
The park is located north of Downtown Kelowna. It has 15 trails and 2 major viewpoints accessible by cars. We first headed straight to the mountain top and went to the Upper Apex Lookout. It was a vastly different experience when looking at the lake at a higher elevation. It looked even more magnificent up here!
The Lower Crown Lookout is located at the second big curve of Knox Mountain Drive when going uphill. It is much closer to downtown and thus has a better view of the city. I am sure the night view of the city would be fabulous here!
It is also a great hiking destination that is relatively close to the city. There are 15 trails with different difficulty levels. A few of them lead to different viewpoints.
I highly recommend coming to this park for the city and the lake views. I am sure you will have a different experience here. For people who love hiking, it is a great chance to hike to other lookouts and enjoy different scenery.
