Luther Burbank Park is located by Lake Washington on Mercer Island. On our way to Seattle via I-90, we stopped by this park and started our second day with fresh air and great views.
What We Did
We spent half an hour here walking to the pier and along the shore. It was early morning and still cloudy. Again, we saw a lot of ducks in the water. It is always great to see animals and wildlife close to the city. The air was fresh and relaxing.
There isn’t a lot of things to do here besides looking at the lake or have a little walk. I believe the park is more for the locals than for the tourists. However, it is still a good place to rest if you are using I-90 to drive across Lake Washington.
