Arnies Restaurant & Bar is one of the restaurants not far from the Mukilteo terminal. It was 2:30 pm, so we went straight in after the ferry ride. I highly recommend their oyster dish, Cornmeal Crusted Oysters.

- [Lunch] Arnies Restaurant & Bar, Mukilteo (This Post)
- Bellevue Botanical Garden
After driving along the coastline and visiting the shellfish farm, all of us wanted seafood. I picked the steelhead trout with risotto and veggies on their special menu. I went for this dish because it had been a long time since I last had a risotto. The trout was perfectly done and the risotto was delicious.
We ordered the soup and the sandwich combo for Mom. It turned out to be a very poor choice. The seafood bisque was quite salty. The “sandwich” in the below picture had an attracting name, Half Crab and Shrimp Melt, but it was just disappointing when it arrived. We expected a sandwich in a smaller portion, not a slice of bread.
My sister ordered Cornmeal Crusted Oysters, and all of us agreed that this was the most delicious dish. It was a must to have some oysters, and deep frying was my favourite way to enjoy them. It is also a healthy dish with colourful rice and lots of veggies.
Arnies Restaurant & Bar at Mukilteo is a nice restaurant with a variety of seafood dishes. They have another location at Edmonds, WA by the ferry terminal. Remember not to order their soup and the sandwich combo during your next visit.
Also, after lunch, we rested and had a walk at the nearby Mukilteo Lighthouse Park. It isn’t really a destination on its own, but it was very nice to walk around. I recommend this place if you are too full from your lunch or dinner.
