After the tour at Greenwell Farms, we decided not to skip lunch and headed to Annie’s Island Fresh Burgers. It was just a few minutes drive from the farm. It was the one and only burger meal we had on Big Island.
We both had a cup of mojito to start. It is the primary reason to come to this place after reading a blog post. Mojito is the first cocktail drink I love after I had a very impressive one in Havana, Cuba a few years ago. The mojito was fresh comforting, and I couldn’t stop sipping it.
I ordered the BBQ “South Point” Burger with onion rings as my main dish. The burger was huge with avocado, cheddar cheese, and crispy onion rings. It was fresh and delicious. The onion rings on the side were also huge.
I don’t remember what my sister had. The one thing I can think of is that the coleslaw that came with the burger or the sandwich was super small, and both of us were not satisfied with it. Besides that, I think the food was very good.
For some reason, I didn’t take any pictures of our food. Without them, it is getting harder for me to remember all the details and the nice experiences. I will never make this mistake again!
