In the morning of Day 3, we visited a series of beaches on the west coast of Big Island. The first one was Anaeho’omalu Beach, which is in the Waikoloa resort area.
We were there at around 8 am, and there weren’t a lot of people. We were stunned by the scenery we saw: beautiful white sand beach and turquoise colour water. It was so different from the Kahaluu Beach we visited yesterday. The water was also very calm, which made us want to jump into the water and snorkel. We decided not to because we were going to the top of Mauna Kea in the afternoon. We thought of coming back on Day 4, but at the end, we never came back. I think it could become another good snorkel experience, and I am definitely coming back next time.
