In the morning of Day 3, we visited a series of beaches on the west coast of Big Island. The first one was Anaeho’omalu Beach, which is in the Waikoloa resort area.
What We Did
We were there at around 8 am, and there weren’t a lot of people yet. We were stunned by the scenery we saw: beautiful white sand beach and turquoise-coloured water. It was so different from the Kahaluu Beach we visited yesterday. The water was also very calm, which made us want to jump into the water and snorkel. In the end, we decided not to because we were going to the top of Mauna Kea in the afternoon. We stayed for about half an hour and then move on to the next beach.
We thought of coming back the next day, but we didn’t make it. I can predict that the snorkeling experience will be awesome. It is also a very nice place to play in the water or get relaxed. We should’ve skipped some other destinations and stayed longer. I will for sure visit Anaeho’omalu Beach again.
